April 2015 Update: Progress in Liberia; French Bibles to Chad

During Liberia’s civil war, Saclepea was a primary recruiting and training area for child soldiers, many of whom still reside in the city.  It was a blessing for the APT Liberian Training Team to hold a Bible training workshop in this region last month. Pastors rejoiced in receiving their very own Thompson Bible upon graduation. This is just a part of the 700 pastors and leaders that we hope to train in Liberia this year!

Increase is Sales of French Thompson Bibles for Africa Draws Attention

While the “Liberian Training Team” continues on, we are scheduling workshops for the remainder of the year in Uganda, Nigeria, Senegal and Chad.  Lord willing, one of the key executives for the publishing company of the French Thompson Bible (who we buy our French Bibles through) will be attending the training in Chad.  He has asked if he can come from France to observe the training and see first hand why there has been such an increase in sales of French Thompson Bibles for Africa!  We are praying that the Lord will move his heart to offer us French Bibles at a discounted rate for future workshops.

Donations Needed for More French Bibles

If you can help us purchase French Bibles for this projected 150 pastors, please consider doing so.  We still need about $5,500.00 for Bibles for this workshop. We know these will bear fruit in the
lives of all the pastors who attend as well as their congregations.

Lord willing, this workshop will also be used to provide an ongoing stream of French Thompson Bibles for African pastors at a reduced price in the years to come!
