Pastor Morris (L) honored by attendee
APT Ministries conducted its first-ever Thompson Bible training in Sierra Leone in May. It was a huge success in that 105 Christian pastors and leaders completed the training in this country that is 70% Muslim. We owe a special thanks to Christian Literature Crusade (CLC) and their National Director for Sierra Leone and Liberia, Jesu-Wai Sawi, for providing all of the promotion and coordination for this event.

For the first time ever pastors were calling in to make reservations and find out how to send in their deposits for the 2 upcoming workshops in October . . . BEFORE a date was even set!

Another first is that Wellington Morris, part of the training team from Liberia, joined me to team-teach the workshop.
In October there will be another APT Ministries “first” when “Dr. Ballard” (a.k.a. Jeanne!) will go with me to teach the workshop to pastors wives and women in ministry in Sierra Leone.

Thank you for making this ministry possible through your prayers and gifts! Those in Sierra Leone thank you and give praise to God for enabling APT Ministries to develop this training there.
I wear two hats: as Evangelist and in my job, as Head of the Parliament’s communications. For me, the incomparably greater role, is being able to respond to the call that says ‘the harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few.’ Fulfilling that call has been the subject of my prayers up till recent times and the Thompson Chain Workshop became for me, a wonderful answer to that prayer! It provided in one volume, multiple resources for Biblical exposition, teaching and preaching that I found most valuable. If I had simply bought the Thompson Chain, it’s quite possible I may’ve undervalued it. But the step by step process provided the elucidation needed to open one’s eyes to the precious depths of treasures it contains. -Cyril, Evangelist
Because the French version of the Thompson Bible is provided by another publisher, prices and shipping costs are significantly higher than the English version. The publisher has offered us a discount if we purchase a minimum of 500 bibles. This is a savings of over $5,000.00, which is significant for a smaller ministry like APT! We have made a deposit to reserve the order, but we still need about $18,000.00 to purchase and ship these bibles to the workshops. Soon we will provide more details on the need for Thompson Bibles in French. In the meantime, please consider making a donation to assist in the training of French speaking pastors in Africa.
Thank you again for partnering with APT Ministries. Your prayers and gifts are changing lives.
