Workshops Expand in 2019

July 12, 2019 By Chuck Ballard

Map of Africa-2019“As the Lord leads and provides” is a phrase I often use when talking to people about the growth and development of APT Ministries.

I use the phrase every week when responding to emails for requests to bring the Thompson Bible training to a country in Africa that we have not yet been able to go to, like . . . Ghana, Togo, Benin, Gabon, Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa.

Sometimes the needs and opportunities feel overwhelming!

New Training Locations and Greater Numbers

But each year we move forward as “the Lord leads and provides!”

If we can stay on schedule for 2019 we will introduce the training for the first time into both Malawi (October) and Rwanda (December).

We are also on track to provide training for over 3,000 pastors in 2019. That would be the highest annual number trained since APT Ministries began.

Our Vision for The Future

The map above is a good reminder for prayer that God will continue to lead us in His time for what He wants us to do as a ministry.

We are asking the Lord to provide so that we can both sustain and multiply this ministry in every country where we are currently committed.

We also want to see the Lord expand the Thompson Bible workshops into all the countries that continue to ask us to come as they wait for the Lord’s timing and provision!

In David’s excellent book, God’s New Humanity: A Biblical Theology of Multiethnicity […]

How To Use A Thompson Study Bible We are frequently contacted by people who are asking for information and help in learning how to use a Thompson Chain Reference Study Bible. These are people who either have owned a Thompson Bible and never learned how to use it or those who have recently purchased a Thompson Bible and haven’t figured out how to use it in their personal study of the Scriptures. … Read More
